The Rep at Western Prop, Troutdale, OR tried to sell me a cut down Prop from a Mooney. The specs = on that particular prop were under tolerance, according to Hartzell, and could very possibly have harmonics problems. = Western Prop that it did NOT have to meet min specs because of my Experimental application. =20 I had a similar experience with a prop broker from Missouri, Trev = Zander. Buyer beware =20 If you are buying a used prop, have it shipped to a neutral shop for = inspection, along with the logs.
