Tom,
Might work BUT, this will aggravate nosewheel
shimmy and give you a nose high taxi attitude.
Even when the plane is level, you can't see what is
right in front of you.
Maybe you could start at 1/2" and try
that.

Subject: [LML] LNC2 nose gear
spacer
Folks,
I am considering adding a aluminium spacer/doughnut/ring to the
bottom of the LNC2 nosegear fork to give me some more prop clearance. I
am running a long prop and need all the clearance I can get. I have the
available space in the gear well to extend the strut at least 1 inch. I
would love to hear from anyone who has taken this approach, materials
dimensions etc
Thanks
Tom
