Fuel
pressure is measured on the unmetered side of the
servo (between the fuel pump and the servo), fuel flow
is measured on the metered side (between the servo and the spider).
On the metered
side of the servo, fuel pressure will vary according to throttle position. Some
cheap FF gages will connect to the spider and read this pressure, the face of
the gage is marked in GPH/PPH but it’s still just a pressure gage.

Subject: [LML] Fuel Pressure Setup
I’m setting up IO 550 in my
Legacy. I’m taking the fuel pressure off the metered side (spider). The
typical Lancair setup attaches the fuel pressure line to the unmetered side
which I think would only show the fuel pump output. How is everybody else
setting up?
