“Subject: Fwd: F 111 Wheel-up-landing
I guess the Brits CAN DO. This seems to me to be a past time
event, but......”
John,
First – Dunno who identified the
picture but it was an AUSTRALIAN RAAF aircraft and AUSTRALIAN Pilot and Nav
– NOT as we call ‘em downunder – a cupla POMMY B******DS. AKA
as you call ‘em – BRITS. The Brits, or as I call ‘em POMMY
B*****DS, ordered F-111’s in the 60s but bailed out of the contract, when
delivery was delayed and their economy went into meltdown.
Ya didn’t show the pilot and nav
jumping out and running away!!! Much as I would do.
Cheers
Dom Crain
VH-CZJ
Father of former RAAF F-111 pilot and
squadron instructor, and who simulated shot down a cupla F-16s at RED FLAG with
his F-111 back in the early ‘90s..
PS – One if my best mates is a POMMY
B*****D. It’s a term of endearment as well.

a Lancair gear up.....
Ok Guys:
If you ever want to do a good wheels up landing in your Lancair, start by
installing a tail hook......
This guy is a better pilot than I will ever be!
