I hope the NTSB looks at the comments after the article. It
would probably take them months to gather that information. Follow
the chain - The loss of crucial navigation gear, the search for fuel on a
holiday, some question as to whether fuel was found, probable frost, taking
off without the GPS and other information certainly provides much more
context than the early reports.
JOT is 23 NM South of DPA.
Of course, one has to work his way thru comments like the SR-71
sighting......... Arrrrgh..........
