Tom, I had Sacramento Sky Ranch make up all the lines for my IV-P and = couldn't have been more pleased. You can probably beat the price (I really didn't shop very much) but not the quality. I used their silicone-coated = stainless braid for all except the vent lines. These are a bit less flexible than = the standard ones, but are very clean and look good. I'd recommend this type = to replace at least any that you currently have fire-sleeved. http://www.sacskyranch.com/. Their web site is a mess to navigate, but = Phil Hobson there at (800) 433-3564 was most helpful. I have an Andair air/oil separator on my IV-P--ordered through = Lancair--and have been very pleased with it. It returns separated oil to the = crankcase via a drain line, and has an air vent line that feeds into a nipple = welded to the exhaust stack. This "burns" any oil vapor that goes out the separator. Absolutely no oil on the bottom of my airplane--but I do get exhaust stains on the belly--mostly back by the tail--that are difficult = to remove. I'm looking with serious interest at Fred Moreno's recent = posting, as I seem to have traded oil on the belly for exhaust. Although not as noticeable and obnoxious, it is more difficult to get off... :-( I've looked, but can't locate a picture of the Andair unit. Let me know = and I can take one for you... Bob
