I did basically what Ranny did and it worked out pretty well. I mounted
nutplates on a phenolic pad and hysoled it inside the wingtip. Be sure to
cut holes in the phenolic for the wires and plug to run through. I then
applied release tape to the light assembly and built up a micro pad to hold
the light a little out from the wingtip.
