The part you have, Part #888 is for the Elevator Pitch Trim. That part is depicted in Chapter 16, Cockpit, page 409 of the 320 standard kit manual.

It's 5/8dia, 6 coils/inch and 9" long.
I thought it might be a gear spring but I only seem to have 1.
