Dear Fellow Builders,
Here’s the overall schedule for those of you planning to
come to the Fly-In next Saturday and Sunday. Not shown on the general schedule
is a Volunteer Dinner on Saturday evening. The EAA’s Ron Wagoner will
speak, and it’s now open to all Fly-In attendees, with a requested $7
donation for non-volunteers. I mention this because the volunteer
coordinator (my Judy) is still short a few people to assist in important
positions. If you’re planning to come, and willing to assist, please sign up as a volunteer at http://virginiaflyin.org
and take advantage of a “free” dinner…
or just visit the site for additional information.

Bob Wolstenholme will represent
Lancair at the Fly-In, and expects to bring his beautiful Mistress. I’ll
brief the aircraft parkers to direct you to a designated Lancair parking area,
but a paper/cardboard sign in the window would help them recognize a Lancair
when they see one…
Kent Marshall, the Suffolk
Airport Manager is offering a $.15/gallon discount on all three fuels he sells:
JetA, 100LL and self-service auto gas. If he doesn't have to buy another load
before the fly-in, the discounted price will be $4.42 for 100LL. Not
cheap, but looking better as compared to car gas in the local area!
See you there!
Bob
