I have a couple of questions (well a whole lot actually but these are pressing): 1. Lancair Adjustable Rudder Pedals - I plan on fitting these on pilot and co-pilot sides. Any recommendations as to installation or comments as to how well they work would be appreciated. 2. Battery location - I am planning to run a dual alt/single battery 24v system and will use 2 x 12v batteries. I cannot fit these on the firewall and now plan to locate them behind the pilot seat in the baggage area. Since this is so close to the CG I do not foresee any weight & balance issues but would like to hear any comments for or against this location. Alternatively I thought of locating them behind the aft bulkhead but there I guess there will be a W&B issue. Any help will be much appreciated. I am new to the list and started building my Legacy in February of this year. I = have a couple of questions (well a whole lot actually but these are = pressing):

  1. Lancair Adjustable Rudder Pedals – = I plan on fitting these on pilot and co-pilot sides. Any recommendations = as to installation or comments as to how well they work would be = appreciated.
  2. Battery location – I am = planning to run a dual alt/single battery 24v system and will use 2 x 12v = batteries. I cannot fit these on the firewall and now plan to locate them behind = the pilot seat in the baggage area. Since this is so close to the CG I = do not foresee any weight & balance issues but would like to hear any comments for or against this location. Alternatively I thought of = locating them behind the aft bulkhead but there I guess there will be a = W&B issue.

Any help will be much appreciated.
