Cirrus announces Emergency Recovery Switch -- Only $48k
The Cirrus is a three-button system:
#1 starts the engine.
#2 recovers from upset.
#3 fires the parachute.
Pilots need not apply.

The customized $48,000 Garmin Perspective integrated cockpit option includes a bright blue emergency switch called LVL to return the airplane to straight-and-level flight. The LVL button can recover the aircraft from an attitude of 75 degrees of roll and 50 degrees of pitch, even if they occur simultaneously.
I recall having to recover from similar attitudes (ok, maybe not quite that much pitch), simultaneously, under the hood, as a student pilot.  And that was with a basic 6-pack.  Now I never had to do it in turbulence.  I wonder if the Garmin Perspective can do it in turbulence.

Hmmm.  I can buy a lot of upset training for $48K, and have a lot of fun doing it.
