Does anyone with guages installed observe the high pressure side reaching 2000 psi for no apparent reason ?

Yesterday a couple of minutes after gear retraction I saw the gear pump light blip on.

As this is a fairly common occurence I paid little attention. About 10 minutes into the flight I noticed the pressure guage was reading 2000 psi. I slowed down, lowered the gear and raised it again and had constant 1500 psi for the remainder of the flight.

The aircraft had been outside overnight since my arrival the previous evening and ambient temperature was not greatly different (within 10 deg C)

I have had this happen a couple of times before. Is it time to replace the high pressure switch or is it something we live with?

Thanks

Gerard
