Folks,

I am getting ready to paint (Conductive) ground planes for COM and X-Pndr.

    The questions I have are:

1)     Prime first ? Prime Over the top ?

2)     It seems the antennas have a gasket to maintain a good seal. I assume the gasket would go between the base and the painted on ground plane. How do you get a good contact from the painted ground plane to the antennas ?

Since I am on the topic, how about the ground planes for the NAV antennas in the eGlass Winglets ? Anything special to be concerned with ?
