I purchased a Lancair Fuel Filer some time ago but cant seem to find a suitable location to install it.

Since it is made from aluminum, I ruled out the engine compartment.  However, I did consider installing it under the copilots floor between the fuel selector and the fuel pump but the mess associated with routine filter cleaning has me concerned.

Has anyone else installed Lancair's fuel filter and, if so, where?
