I missed out on the opportunity to scour my hydraulic lines on the inside before I filled the system. But the fluid looks clean now, so I'll live with it until I have a problem. Then I'll do like Bill Rumburg suggests and rebuild the cylinders at the same time.
However, I haven't built my fuel lines yet, except for the tiny one to the header tank shutoff valve. You can bet that I'll drag gun cleaning patches or pipe cleaners or something else thru the tubes after I flare them (instead of merely blowing them clean) as I build up the system. Thanks for the tip.
Wish I'd thought of this a year ago. I should have done this for the hydraulic lines...
