For an Instrument Panel = with Aluminum=20 inserts and I was told I could not use regular steel nutplates = to attach=20 the inserts to the panel because of interference with=20 instruments. What do I use?

I've seen quite a few instrument panels that use #6 nutplates = (K1000-06 or=20 MK1000-06) mounted in the fiberglass instrument = panel frame.
