I painted an RV-4 with PPG Concept which is an excellent paint which you can't buy in the San Francisco bay area anymore.
Being a cheapie I took a tank type vacuum cleaner, located it outside the shop, taped a garden hose to the discharge end of it and stuck it under my belt at the back.  I then cut arm holes in a clear plastic bag and taped it around my waist.  I never even smelled paint.  Total cost.  6 plastic bags, 1 roll of duct tape and $485.00 worth? of paint.
