I chose them over the competitors because of the comfort, 7-function switch capability, and the canted top surface, which was much easier on my thumb. One note--the coolie hat on top may have a tendency to "sink down" on its shaft over many months, limiting the throw forward and back--I simply pulled it "up" carefully and have no further problems.
