You can have new upstops made by just about anyone with a lathe...
duplicate the boring and OD of the factory stop but have the sleeve made so
it's 1/4" to 3/8" longer. That way the stop will bottom out on the outboard
end of the cylinder and allow you some additional adjustment for once you
cycle the gear under power.  Remember, the initial settings of the stops
(when you're operating everything manually) will only be close at best, as
when you have full system presure to operate the cylinder you'll find that
their ultimate stopped positions will be a bit different.  You need to
allow for that difference while building.
