The TIT GAS is cooler than the exhaust GAS...  it's further down the line...  it's had time to cool more.

So, why does TIT READ higher?

Are they really?  mine run 100-150 higher than my egt's.
Anyway, GRT wasn't sure about the application: probe length, (slightly) higher temp range etc.
