Everything you asked - depends.....................
When I had my engine torn down after a gear up landing, many of the
decisions were made easy.  I had 400 hours on Cermi-Chrome cylinders that
had just started to exhibit increasing oil consumption (a known problem), so I
had the cylinders replaced with ECI Cermi-Nil cylinders.  My crankshaft was
just a wee bit bent so I had it replaced with a heavier one (engine rebuilder
gave me trade-in credit).  The cam lobes had not been wearing well so I had
them replaced with 1-piece cams.  9:1 pistons were obtained to replace
the old ones.  I was able to retain the prop hub and the blades were
replaced.  Have you considered an Aerocomposite prop?  I had the fuel
system rebuilt also.
