Have you tried working backward. What is the angle of travel specified for
the trim tab. Measure the distance at the trim tab arm and determine that it
is 1 inch. Take a battery and run the servo stop to stop and measure the
movement of the rod. If it is more then 1 inch, you have too much travel and
need to change the limits to get it to 1 inch. The only other problem I can
see, if the servo is not located far enough from the trim tab arm, you can not
get the proper adjustments on the control rod.
