Hello Bryan,

On our 320 we made capstrips for the flaps, ailerons, hstab, vstab, elevator and rudder. We also used hysol instead of flox. It's a little more work and a few bucks more for the hysol but after it's closed out, you'll feel a lot better about it.

I am closing out my Rudder on my Lancair 360.  The manual says to  close out using epoxy/flox in a similar manner as the Horizontal  Stab.  It does not make any mention of capstrips.
Can I close out my rudder with flox and no capstrips? Or Am I suppose  to make capstrips before final close out.

Bryan
