I found the wear to be concentrated at the bolt / tab interface, probably due to small area, high pressure.
 
I wired the bolt to the tab to force rotation between the bolt and aluminum link, which has a much larger area, and the parts are cheaper if they need to be replaced.
 
I used a similar approach on the landing gear knee joint and have not noticed any additional wear at either location.
