Within the past two or three months there was a bird strike at ( F45) North
Palm Beach Airport between a Lancair Colunbia (demo plane) --the bird came
through the windshield in front of the demo pilot-broke his nose-an emergency
was declared and the plane and pasangers landed safetly.
I saw the plane in the shop being repaired--quite a job--this is all I
know--mabe the powers that be at Columbia can add the details.
