Just turned 515hrs over 4yrs on my IVP, and can think of only 2 things I
would change, given the chance:
1. I would have installed the OAT probe far out in the wing, perhaps in
the cavity in front of the aileron or outboard flap, to get more accurate
readings.
2. I would have come up with a better way of installing the rear seat
bottom so that it didn't take an act of congress to remove it, once
installed. Options would have been to make it narrower so that it didn't
interfere as much with the sidewalls, torque tubes, etc when lifting it out,
or coming up with a "split" design (from front to back) so that 1/2 could be
taken out at a time.
