I used to fly a fuel injected Twin = Comanche in Kenya and I never learned to get it going consistently on a = hot start. Isolated game park strips were not a good place to have a = flat battery! A pilot came through here in the summer in a Twin = Comanche and could not restart after fuelling. He came into the hangar = looking for help and was given the start procedure above. He argued it = would not work but finally took a chance on it. He went away a = believer. Ian B.
