 Once I got a short ride in a Lancair 360 that had the ailerons improperly
balanced.
 There was a very noticeable wobble - side to side -  in the stick.  The
ailerons could be seen to move in concert with the wobble.  The trailing edge
travel might have been 1/2" or so and the frequency was pretty slow at cruise
speed - maybe twice as fast as you could move the controls that way with the
stick.
 I was not anxious to see any more of this phenomenon and got back on the
ground.
