I saw 410 knots for about 45 minutes at 25K in my lowly TSIO550 nonpressurized IV. Too bad- I kept it in the Garmin flight statistics until they updated the software and erased it. It is not uncommon to see 350 knots eastbound in the winter winds. I guess the turbines are about 30 knots faster at altitude. Is that worth twice the fuel burn? Michael Smith
