It will require some sort of an FMS system to be connected to it. For example the Chelton system supports it. The 1201 is the TSO'd version, the 1101 is the exact same unit without the TSO sticker for the experimental market. It will allow you to file /G with the chelton and will also include some of the WAAS approaches - VNAV only (same as existing non-WAAS GPS approaches), and VNav/Lnav (also sometimes called Baro-Vnav) approaches (non-precision with vertical guidance). To do LPV approaches (Precision GPS approaches) is suppose to be included in a software update to the unit. But I've heard no specific date of availability. Thank you! I would appreciate your feedback relative to the following: 1) How does the Freeflight 1101/1201 compare to the Garmin 480? Lancair is telling me that the 1101 is WAAS certified, but the freeflightsystems.com web site only says that the 1201 is WAAS certified. It doesn't mention the 1101. What is up here? 2) How does the TruTrack Sorcerer Autopilot compare with the STec 55X in capabilities? Which/what autopilot would you recommend based on your experiences? 3) Which trim systems do you recommend for the IVP. I have heard about "Ray Allen" and "Precise Flight." Which do you recommend and why? 4) Would you choose Garmin SL 30's or 40's and why? 5) Why would someone spend the extra bucks to go with a Chelton Pro system rather than the Chelton Sport system? Thank = you!

I would appreciate your = feedback=20 relative to the following:

2)  How does the = TruTrack=20 Sorcerer Autopilot compare with the STec 55X in capabilities?  = Which/what=20 autopilot would you recommend based on your = experiences?

3)   Which trim = systems do=20 you recommend for the IVP.  I have heard about “Ray = Allen” and “Precise=20 Flight.”  Which do you recommend and why?

4)  Would you choose = Garmin SL=20 30’s or 40’s and why?

5)  Why would someone = spend the=20 extra bucks to go with a Chelton Pro system rather than the Chelton = Sport=20 system?

Thanks in advance and best = regards,
