LANCAIR FLYIN - Medford, Oregon

By now I believe most flyers are home from the EAA Northwest Arlington Flyin, so this is a good time to get an approximate head count as a courtesy to Medford Air's AeroDiner for breakfast and/or lunch.  Please let me know if you are coming if you haven't already, so we know what to expect.

Flyin details are as follows:

DATE: This coming Saturday, July 15

PLACE: Medford Air Service (FBO) http://www.medfordairservice.com/ - Medford, Oregon (KMFR)  http://www.airnav.com/airport/KMFR
They have ample ramp space for parking.  It is the nicest, newest FBO on the field.

Breakfast/lunch will be served from a look-a-like San Francisco street car which has been converted to an outdoor restaurant (AeroDiner) located at the FBO (see attached pic).  They have a lunch menu and will prepare a breakfast menu special for our group for all to choose.  The cost will be approximately $6.00 each.

Medford Air will provide discounted fuel.  The current airport self service fuel price is $3.94.  Medford Air indicated their discounted price for our gathering would be at or below the self service facility, depending upon fuel prices on the 15th.

Typical temperatures in Medford in July are morning lows of about 60 and afternoons near 90. The airport is towered Class D with the main runway, 14/32, 8,800' X 150' at 1,335 ft.  The airport tower is Lancair friendly.

Medford Air is located adjacent to the end of runway 27 (the cross runway).  Exit the main runway (14/32) to the left at Alpha 4 or 5 and look for the big FBO building with the green awning (see attached pics).

We will be there early (about 7 AM) so call me on my shoe fone (541) 941-0543 if you need local weather or have special a request.  Take advantage of the early morning cool smooth air.

Here is a link to airport weather that I often use:  http://www.rvproject.com/wx/

Please forward this info about the event to your Lancair friends that are not on the LML.

Any questions?  Let me know.
