Upon discussing the "incident" with him later, after the airplane had = been=20 trucked to his hangar, he informed those of us standing around to survey = the damage that his gear was held in the down postition by hydraulic = pressure=20 only. His gear collapse ocurred, according to him, because his airplane = had=20 lost hydro pressure. Since I have no knowlege of the Glasair systems = other=20 than what an owner of same has told me, I have to assume it is true.
