Circumstanstial evidence points mainly to the former. Why is that? I wonder if it is time for EAA to institute a "responsible flying" course which, if you take, you get a break on insurance. ...kind of like driver's ed. If we don't do something, the people with money (e.g. insurance) will push the FAA to do something for us, like substantially eliminate experimental aviation as we know it. Colyn
