Unfortunately this crash is still a lead story for the local Sacramento TV and Newspaper media. Usually they include commentary by Pilots explaining the "Pilot Error" aspect. Their explanations make sense to me but the crash site neighbors they are interviewing are incensed. Experimental Aviation (maybe even General Aviation) may have consequences due to the heavy coverage this is getting. Coincidentally in 2 days AOPA is having a Safety Seminar titled: Maneuvering Flight - Hazardous to Your Health? Here's their chance to work the media while they are in town.
