Ever since I installed my Tru-Trak, I've had interference in the form of hash on my comm. I fould if I turned off my Garmin 196, which feeds  the TruTrak, the interference went away. When I grabbed the short (6") Garmin output cable from the GPS to the four-pin connector on the panel, that also stopped the interference. The leads from the connector on the back side of the panel to the TruTrak and power were both shielded, but the Garmin cable was not. I stripped some braid from another piece of cable, put it over the Garmin cable, and grounded it at the connector. No more interference!
