Having just talked to someone at the factory who just put on his ground
planes, it works like this.
A) they sand the bottom of the airplane in prep for primer
B) they paint on primer and it wasn't WLS, must have been K38 or something
equivalent
C) once the primer is cured, they sand it and then paint on the conductive
paint
D) then once it's cured/dried, then lightly sand it and then WLS goes over
that.
Hey had started to paint on the conductive paint on bare carbon, but was
stopped and coached in the method above.
I did get this second hand over the phone, so Tim might have to fill in a
couple of details that I might have missed.
