IMHO, this should be the way they do the ailerons too. The Columbias have the bob weights and they are really nice. We melted our own weights for the elevators and they worked well. We also did this on the ailerons, but the space available made it a real PITA to get a good design and then to fit it in that shallow, narrow well in the TE of the wing. Cheers, John ES in paint shop
