There were a bunch of reasons at the time and perhaps I made the right or wrong decision. Either way it's been made. However, I have had a couple of ideas since I got back and figured I'd share them with the group. I'm talking with a local machine shop to do two things. A) replace the plastic tabs with a machined aluminum version and b) replace the bottom plastic part with a machined billet part. I don't have pricing yet, but if you'd like to replace these two parts on yours, drop me a note... These will be upgrades for the locking style caps and should resolve most of the issues that people have with the factory version. For now I'll keep of listing of interested parties and as soon as I get pricing, I'll let each of you know. I figure there are a bunch of us that would like to upgrade to machined parts... Original pictures below... I'll update after I get first articles on the upgrades.. :) http://www.highrf.com/gallery/Legacy-Gas-Caps BTW, I'm not sure if the cap on the 320/360 is the same or not, let me know, if so, then of course this offer applies to your guys too.
