For all you hydraulic wizards out there, I have a problem with my nosegear cylinder. I need to shorten its fully extended length. Why?? Well, way back in my youth when I started this project, I followed the manual religiously...mistake. In order to remove all pressure from the overcenter link when in the down position, I need to do one of two things. 1. move the upper cylinder attach point brackets aft.(can't do this due to the position of the phenolic block at the top of  the tunnel. 2. Make new brackets using the old holes through the tunnel and positioning the cylinder attach point further aft on the brackets. 3. Take apart the cylinder and insert an internal stop on the shaft inside the cylinder. Making new brackets is probably the simplest solution but is #3 a reasonable alternative?

Thanks for your help.
