LML Gang,
Sorry for the delay in responding on the jack issue -- I was in London on business for a week...
Anyway, the jacks I have were built for me by a fellow Lancair 320 builder -- Duane Hitchcock (1997 OSH Grand Champion) of Burlington, Colorado. Duane has made a few sets of these for other folks over the years. They are very sturdy and easy to use with a jack screw with nylon area pad on the tops with a 1/4" pin on the top that fits in the jack point holes on the belly of the 320. The jack screw has a 3/8" socket receptacle on the bottom end so to jack up the plane you just insert your socket drive and give it a few cranks. No hydraulics to fail -- very simple.
I just spoke with Duane and he doesn't read the LML but he does have some of the jacks made up. If you are interested, please contact him directly at duane_hitchcock@hotmail.com. Tell him Dan sent you.
Regards,
Dan
