Thank you all for the input on my conceptual design for the floor / defrost box inside the IV-P cabin.

Boy, the potential for high temperatures certainly cancels the idea of using honeycomb material for the construction of the box, so I guess I will have to go to plan "B" and make it out of aluminum or stainless.  When I was talking to Charlie Kohler about the box in his cabin, he indicated that the noise was reduced dramatically, so I guess I will stay in pursuit of the larger box.
