Why not start a e-mail campaign to get the EAA and the FAA to at least hear our concerns. Lets write e-mails as EAA members to Tom Poberezny, Earl Lawrence government affairs at EAA, Marion Blakey and Frank Paskiewitz at the FAA. We should express our concerns that the FAA may be changing things drastically and we would like the EAA to host a meeting to get our input and comments on the proposed new 8130-2 orders. This meeting would show that EAA and FAA cares about our input. The EAA should be asked to have all the kit manufactures involved in the proposed changes to attend. This could be the start of a great relationship between the FAA, EAA, Kit manufactures and amateur builders. What a concept, communication with everyone. If the EAA will not host a public form on this issue I think that a Congressman or Senator would. We need to get together and tell them what we want. I'll start the ball rolling and get you all e-mail addresses. Rick Schrameck EAA member
