I flew the Thud from 1968 until 1981. Kadena, McConnell, Korat, George, Bergstrom (12AF/DOV). How many other Thud drivers in the group? I didn't think it was "squirrely" at high speed, but it sure could get sensitive (try slot at 600KIAS). I've flown Bs, Ds, Fs, and Gs. I thought the B was the best flyer of the lot.
