The Thud was the cadillac of the fleet. The F-4 was a brute force machine, but a maintenance nightmare and squirrely at the higher airspeeds. It also ate fuel so fast that I started looking for a tanker or a runway @ 0+30 after takeoff!!! :-))
Gotta meet sometime and compare notes. Do you happen to know where I can find a Dash One for the 105? Some guys kept theirs, so they may be available.
