The included fax contains LNC2 info from Lancair on "new" pump
wiring. This was located in the LML archives under Hydraulic landing gear:
New style Pump Wiring from the factory. The claim is that at some
time the pumps became "newer" where internal checks for load and
temperature over the limit could cause the pump to stop and that the black wire
should go to ground.

Even if you are confused,
(1) make sure there can be no power to the
INTERMITTENT relays when the motor power circuit breaker is
pulled,
(2) guarantee that the "I" terminals of the relays are isolated from each
other and
(3) protect the wire that goes to the transition light.
How these are to be accomplished is an exercise for the reader. Any
other pump wiring innovations should be determined by your ability to seek
and find information appropriate to your installation in your own custom-built
experimental aircraft.
I withdraw my previous diagram(s) except for the first where the black wire
is an unmentionable.
