Another thing that can cause the
torque tube to bind: If the side of the center console where the bearing
blocks mounts is not exactly 90 degrees to the axis of the tube, the
tube will bind when you tighten the bolts holding the bearing block.
You need to do a flox release on that side of the center console so you have a
flat and true surface to mount the blocks.
