Colyn Case and I have kicking this issue around off the LML for a month or so. I agree with you the TKS system is the most reliable proven system. A lot of people swear by them. I do believe the IMS system is simple and elegant if it works. The problem is I don't know anybody who has flown one in icing conditions. Do you know what the fluid usage rate for the prop only is?
