Jeff,
I'm using EI probes in my ES, but not the EI fuel gauge. I am reading
the fuel level via the BMA EFIS/1. It has two channels for reading a
frequency signal. Once the signals are calibrated, I select either a
round or bar type gauge for display. I've enclosed a couple of scope
shots of the EI probe output signal. Notice that the pulse width
changes as a result of adding fuel to the tank. Hope this helps shed
some light on the issue. EI was not very willing to share information
about their probes. Can't say as I blame them.
