It worked well tracking VOR's such as airways, but was very inconsistent when used for localizer/glideslope or even VOR approach work (lower frequencies in the range). I installed the Lancair Avionics offered cat whisker on the belly of my ES and you can't even see it. What a difference having a real antenna, it is completely reliable and dead nuts on.
