 I totally agree with this.  ...but I think there is a realtime aspect which
makes judgment even harder, esp in an aircraft that flies higher and faster.
   ...and it's worse yet if this is the first time you have encountered this
set of inputs.   In my mind, the transition from c182 to LIVP is alot about
quickly recognizing danger and decisively doing something about it, especially
when the situation is new.   Did the Kings get into any of that?
